
Often companies focus on achieving business goals and forget about the everyday health of their employees.
As a Certified EAP professional since 1998,
I have witnessed the tragedy of 9/11, the rise and fall of business in the Silicon Valley, and the mortgage meltdown starting in 2008. I assisted several companies during these crises in helping management understand the psychological impact of these events on their employees as well as their organization.
I continue to contract with a select few EAPs in the country and work with both employees and managers on issues including trauma, addiction, sexual harassment, change in performance, and work/life balance.
